Based out of Boston, Christopher Konopka specializes in generating one-of-a-kind visual textures with raw video signals. Using an analog video synthesizer, video signals can be layered, keyed and fed back into themselves as a way to paint with a television in real-time. Each design is unique and can also be influenced by it's environment, creating an interactive conversation based on the moment as it is happening. Evolving organically, the imagery conjured is like plucking thoughts out of the air and providing a venue for a new form of individual reflection.
