Devon Miles

Starting in the late 90ties with live media installations and video art
projects, Devon Miles quickly became a prolific character in the
emerging VJ scene.
His style is best described as vibrant, fashionable and animating,
using strictly footage filmed and edited by himself.
The iconic, elegant clips are best matched to emotion driven house
or deephouse music but of course he can accomplish techno, minimal
and Drum & Bass with grungy underground style as well.
From the very beginning he pushed himself to keep a high
production standard and always listens in advance to the sets
of particular DJs or live acts, to get a sense for their specific style.
Being invited to the VJ Scenes key events AVIT Berlin
2003, Avit Birmingham UK 2004 and Avit Slovakia 2008
and VisionR Paris 2009 he gained international reputation and was
selected alongside europes eight best live video artists to perform at
the Edirol VJ Challenge at the London International Music Fair.
Since then he played countless gigs in major clubs and festivals
around Europe.
Some highlights especially worth to mention were the Paradise Beach
Club on Mykonos Island, Department Amsterdam, Arena Berlin,
Volksgarten Vienna, MJ Lounge Munich, the Rheingold Duesseldorf
and many more.
Devon Miles created live video performances for Ricardo Villalobos,
Ferry Corsten, Dubfire, Armin van Buuren, DJ Hell, Andre Galuzzi,
Noze, Matthew Jonson, Dapayk, Chris Liebing, and the visuals for
Deadmau5 first tour appearance in germany in 2008.
he had the honor to play a guest set at the last Love Parade in Berlin,
taking place at the legendary Columbia Hall, starring Anthony Rother,
Westbam, Lexy & K Paul, Tiefschwarz and Woody.
In 2007 he became Resident of the infamous Kazantip Rave in the
Ukraine and is invited every year to perform either the opening or
the closing event.
Right now he developes custom tailored sets for ultrawide panoramic
stages and special mapping content for circular screens and 360 degree
projections.
